Hello Linda, Remember the Scottish gang who met you at your Galway concert. We have worn out your CD from playing it all the time over here in Glasgow. I just heard that you are releasing a single before the end of January and another in March and also that you have started on your new album which you were telling us you hope to release by June. Some work in all that, but we can't wait for your new releases. I would appreciate an autographed personal copy and I will send you my details later. Keep up the great work Linda, I don't know how you fit it all in.
Best wishes, Eamon, Amy, Joe, Lyndsay and the Scottish fans.XXX

Hi Linda. I live in Glasgow and was back in Ireland to visit cousins over Christmas. Your new Christmas song is a real gem, very cleverly put together and wonderfully performed in your own very special unique way. It certainly got airplay, I heard it 12 times on various radio stations one day as I drove to visit relatives and they all were playing it. We are playing your full CD "A Story to Tell" here in the pub in Glasgow and looking forward to your new release.....Best wishes from Eamon, Joe and your new Scottish fans.

Just to say Linda that your songs are beautiful and go to my heart.I live in Scotland and came from a place in Kilkenny. My Mum and Dad are still there and I see them as often as I can. They are both in there 80s and im lucky to still have them both as im now in my 60s.They love your mum and dads songs and I do too. They make me think about life and I cry sometimes at the sentimentality in which those songs are done. You must be a loving person to write those songs and i feel it in my heart.May God bless you and your words of hope and future.Fintan

Hi Linda
Love your music and love the soul voice.Met you in Galway Cabaret and your a lady true and true.I wish more people was like you in your views and thinking of real life and what it is about. You told me about your dilemma in been a concert person and everybody holding you in high esteem and your band gigs and treated as a norrmal freebie and how happy you were to choose the ordinary gigs and mixing with the people to the high life.I wish more people was like you and not money spinning at trying to be at the top.You may feel down at times because of it but i can say you are doing the right thing by what makes you happy.God will thank you for what you said your intentions are in making a difference to somebodies life.I wish everyone in this life had your heart in the way you treat people and the way you love everyone good and bad and i hope and pray everynight that you make it girl cause your thinking and your songs makes my everyday worth living and you have made a difference to me.

Hello again Linda, Remember me at your concert in Salthill. My parents and myself have played your CD constantly since that night and we love every song in it. While driving up the east coast yesterday I heard you played in four radio stations and while the Galway Fiddler made number one, Crazy Love is now very popular. I went to the ICM Awards in Castlebar specially to see you and came away shattered to see how you were robbed of that award, not by the eventual winner but by sloppy and poor organisation. However, you can hold your head high, your music is class, your voice is exceptional and you really look great....we love you down here in the sunny south east. Keep it going, you are on your way to even bigger things...hope to see you soon... Peter (also love from Mum and Dad)

Hi Linda..and a big hello from Montreal in Canada. Just heard you on our local radio and had to search for your website. Your music is exceptional and I love that very unusual voice. You would do very well over here, if you can organise a trip sometime I will be glad to fill in some dates and some radio and TV appearances. Your bio says you have 8 children but from looking at your photos that can't be true, maybe it should read 8 brothers and sisters. I need to purchase some CDs....your writing is so very special. I write myself but cannot sing like your standard.......keep in touch, Cathy

Hi Linda,
I am originally from Texas, with some Irish blood, and I now live close to Dresden in Germany. I listen to country music on NBRN from Nashville and have heard you every day for the past four weeks, They gave out your website and here I am. Your music is awesome, the melodies are very clever, the lyrics are brilliant and you have a soulful and unusual voice to die for. I will be in Galway in September and I would like very much to meet up or see you perform on stage and I would like to purchase at least 20 CDs for friends and also local radio here in Germany. I love your website, the photographs and the music.......keep it up, just brilliant.........Joey.

Hello Linda,
How are you, I just have to say how much I was disappointed with the awards last Thursday, do you know I can still vote for you today ( Sunday 9th) on line two days after then show so it shows your votes were never counted. The winners names even came on the screen before the nominees were announced on the night and some winners walked out on stage before their call, the winner in a newcomer horizon section was a folk / trad singer with a long career and a lot of albums on sale. Perhaps Barbara and I spent 80 euro foolishly + 70 euro for a bed going to support you Linda, when a newcomer in a country category can be a folk singer with many years on the road. You probably never had a chance Linda from the start. It seems to me the winners were picked about 8 weeks ago. Paddy

August 8, 2009
i agree with pat and breda.I sat at that awards beside a friend of mine who was a nominee and did not have any knowledge of whether he was wanted or not at his own awards night. Not even a shake of his hand. Then the MC to blatantly lie to say that all were back stage nervous and then to see each winner of each category waiting to come out before their name was called. What a set up!!They don't even know what country music is or what its about when they had a folk singer win a category.Did they not realise that a folk singer should have been put in the Irish awards previously held the Saturday night before that,a fine singer no doubt about it and a winner but not for country music awards.Eligibility for categories were ignored as was deadline of the voting systems. They must have thought the audience was blind and stupid.Linda you were wonderful that night and as far as I'm concerned you deserved that award and I'm sure alot more would agree with me on this too.I saw you shake the winners hand that night and to hear some say on stage that they were shocked like they just heard it is alien....

Hi Linda, We traveled up from Ennis to the awards in Castlebar last night and was disappointed that you, as the only real newcomer, did not get the award. However, you looked radiant and with your graceful appearance and extraordinary good looks you were the envy of many. Thank you for joining us in the photograph and also for the autograph for our daughter, although Breda thinks it was for me (and may be she's right). We hope to see you in County Clare soon again with your band, Cois Tine.
Remember the great night we had in Magowna House two weeks ago and thank you for being so friendly and spending time with us last night ....... keep in touch, Pat.

Hi Linda, I've just been to your concert with Brendan Bowyer in Salthill tonight. It was a wonderful experience for my wife and myself. You looked fantastic - early to mid twenties, I presume - and your show was really excellent, really top class. That audience loved you and why not, with such a great selection of songs and stories all written by yourself. We heard your new release for Father's Day "Dear Dad" three times already today as we drove west from Dublin. It's great, beautifully written and brilliantly performed and will be a big hit. Ann's dad loves the Galway Fiddler but he has a real treat in store when he hears this. We hope it is played every day for him for the next week, at least. Keep it up, you are doing great...see you at a gig soon. All the best from Bill and Ann, also little Katie says hello.

Hello Linda, I saw you in concert in the Nashville Palace last month and just listened to your CD today. What a brilliant album of original songs and what a wonderful real Irish accent. I manage an Irish bar / eatery in West Palm Beach Florida and would like to include you and your band in cabaret for six shows on your next tour. I book six months ahead so we are looking at the fall / winter 2009. We provide a three bedroom band house to sleep six people + lunch, afternoon meal and a drinks allowance for artists are thrown in.
